Lawrence Dermody is a researcher at the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and works within SIPRI’s Countering Illicit Trafficking Mechanism Assessment Projects (CIT-MAP). His research focuses on arms transfers via air and sea and sanctions implementation. His specializations include maritime anomaly detection and profiling; and open source intelligence.
