PPJ Visits South Hwanghae

DPRK state media reported on March 20 (Tuesday) that State Affairs Commission Vice Chair and Premier Pak Pong Ju  [Pak Pong-chu] surveyed various places in South Hwanghae Province including Haeju Trailing Farm Machine Factory and Ohyo’n Co-op Farm in Yo’nan County.

During his visit, he “encouraged workers and agricultural workers busy with farm machine production and preparations for farming.” At the consultative meetings, “measures were taken to produce more farm machines through technical updating of production process” and take advantage of a “field responisibility system within the framework of sub-workteam management system and increase the double-cropping fields while intensifying the movement for high yield.”

He also toured the Haeju Mushroom Farm, the construction site of the Paech’o’n Catfish Farm as well as other “units” where he learned “about the production and construction” and also “discussed the issue of new power source development in the Ryongdong area.”
