PPJ Inspects Irrigation Project

Senior Korean Workers’ Party [KWP] Vice Chairman Pak Pong Ju (Pak Pong-chu) inspected the construction of the Cho’ngcho’ngang P’yo’ngnam irrigation site.  The construction personnel “are carrying out the tasks without fail while actively applying advanced technology construction methods, true to the Party’s grand plan for harnessing nature and its policy of agricultural irrigation systems.”

PPJ “learned about the construction of the floodgate of the intake dam and the condition of the the roadbed for a gantry crane.”  He called upon “officials and builders to do every work in a responsible manner on the principle of taking responsibility for the safety of the projects and guaranteeing their absolute quality for eternity.”

Pak convened a consultative meeting and “discussed issues to make exact demands on relevant units for manufacturing equipment qualitatively in conformity with standard designs, and to let the railway transport field convey equipment and materials necessary for the project in time by meticulously organizing transport services.”
