Charlie Jung is president of the National Unification Advisory Council (NUAC) Chicago Chapter. A graduate of Konkuk University in South Korea, Jung moved to the United States in 1985.

Prior to his appointment at NUAC in 2017, Jung founded KA VOICE in 2012, a non-partisan group that encourages Korean community civil engagement. Jung has also served as president of the Korean American Association of Chicago, vice president of the Chicago Korean Chamber of Chicago, and president of the Midwest Korean American Junior Chamber of Commerce.
