Edward D. Blandford

Edward D. Blandford is an assistant professor in the Department of Chemical and Nuclear Engineering. Previously he served as a Stanton Nuclear Security Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University’s Center for International Security and Cooperation where his research focused on reactor safety, international safeguards, and security of critical nuclear infrastructure. Edward received his Ph.D. in nuclear engineering at the University of California at Berkeley and his B.S. in mechanical engineering at the University of California Los Angeles. He has previously worked as a project manager at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) and has held fellowships at Brookhaven National Laboratory and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
