J. James Kim

James Kim is a lecturer in the Executive Master of Public Policy and Administration Program at Columbia University. Previously, he was a Research Fellow and Director of Regional Studies and Public Opinion Research at the Asan Institute for Policy Studies. During 2008-12, he was an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the California State Polytechnic University (Pomona). His primary research interests include domestic drivers of foreign policy, political economy, methodology, election, and public opinion. Dr. Kim earned a BS and MS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in Political Science from Columbia University.
