Ludovica Favarotto

is a Research Trainee at the Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI), where she focuses on analyzing contemporary geo-economic challenges, particularly within the Asia Pacific region. She holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, International and Economic Studies from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and a master’s degree in international Economic Policy from Sciences Po Paris. While completing her Master’s, Ludovica gained valuable international experience by interning at the KF-VUB Korea Chair and a Brussels-based public affairs consultancy, where she focused on digital and competition policies. In 2023, Ludovica was selected among 30 young scholars from top-notch universities to participate in the 10th NEREC Summer Fellows Program on “Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Disarmament.” Ludovica’s research interests encompass the intricate political and economic challenges in both the European and East Asian regions, paying particular attention to unraveling the security and political dynamics of the Korean Peninsula.
