Dr. Lyle Goldstein is director of the China Initiative at the Watson School of International and Public Affairs at Brown University and is also Director of the Asia Program at the Washington think-tank Defense Priorities. Earlier in his career, he served for 20 years as professor at the U.S. Naval War College. He conducts research on national security issues throughout Eurasia with a special focus on Chinese and also Russian military development.
