Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Mats Engmanis currently working as a Distinguished Military Fellow at the Stockholm-based Institute for Security and Development Policy (ISDP). His main areas of research are the security development on the Korean Peninsula, China’s military development, Taiwan and the Arctic. His last appointment before retiring was as Head of the Swedish Delegation to the Neutral Nations Supervisory Commission, working in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ).
