Eric Ballbach is a Korea Foundation Fellow at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik) in Berlin. He is also a Non-Resident Fellow in the European Center for North Korean Studies at the University of Vienna. He received his M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of Trier. His main research interests concern North and South Korean foreign policy, inter-Korean relations, processes of regionalization in Northeast Asia and critical theories of International Relations.
