Kyung Suk LEE is an assistant professor at the Graduate School of International Studies in Yonsei University, South Korea. His research agenda lies at the intersection of international security, nuclear politics, alliance politics, and the formation of public and elite opinion on global affairs. Substantively, He is interested in how nuclear deterrence dynamics, alliance structures, and strategic threat perceptions shape state behavior, policy choices, and public attitudes in both democratic and non-democratic contexts. Conceptually and methodologically, his work seeks to bridge security studies, political behavior, and international political psychology, combining theoretical rigor with empirical analysis. His works are published in peer-reviewed journals such as Contemporary Security Policy, International Studies Quarterly, The Washington Quarterly, International Interactions, Journal of Chinese Political Science, International Journal of Public Opinion Research, and Social Science Quarterly.
