Lucas Rengifo-Keller

Lucas Rengifo-Keller joined the Peterson Institute for International Economics as a research analyst in January 2022. He works with Executive Vice President and Director of Studies Marcus Noland on issues related to gender diversity, illicit drug trade, and North Korea.

Prior to joining the Institute, Rengifo-Keller was an associate at Charles River Associates, where he worked on antitrust litigation and research. He also spent time as a research assistant at the Georgetown University Initiative on Innovation, Development and Evaluation (gui2de), a development economics research center.

Rengifo-Keller earned a bachelor's degree in economics and a minor in mathematics from Georgetown University. He is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese.
