Rose Adams is an aspiring North Korean scholar specializing in media, marketization, and women's rights in North Korea. She currently works in the human rights field as part of the team at Unification Media Group (UMG). Her previous academic work includes publications analyzing KCNA coverage of the Trump-Kim summits, depictions of women in North Korean film, and the advent of advertising and product placements in North Korean television. Rose holds an MA in East Asian Studies and a BA in International Relations from Stanford University.
