Sulgiye Park is a senior scientist at the Union of Concerned Scientists. Formerly, she was a Stanton and MacArthur Nuclear Security Fellow at the Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC) at Stanford University. She received her Ph.D. in Geological Sciences and did a postdoctoral fellowship at the Stanford Institute of Materials and Energy Sciences. Her research focuses on nuclear issues, ranging from studies on North Korea’s fissile materials to the US nuclear waste management.
