Young-gil Song

Mr. Song is a member of the 21st National Assembly of the Republic of Korea. He is a fifth-term member (16th, 17th, 18th, 20th, and 21st) from Gyeyang-Gu (District Eul) of Incheon City. He currently serves as the Chairman of the National Assembly Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee. He is also participating in parliamentary study groups as he is the President of the Parliamentary Study Group on Climate Change and the Green New Deal. Chairman Song received Order of Friendship from the Russian Federation in 2013 and Legion of Honor Decoration from France in 2009.

Chairman Song served as fifth publicly-elected mayor of Incheon Metropolitan City. He received his BA in Business Administration from Yonsei University, Seoul and he was the first directly-elected President of General Student Council. Additionally, He received two degrees in Chinese Language and Literature, and Japanese Studies from Korea National Open University.
