Lynn Turk served two USAF tours in Korea in the 1970s. He was at Embassy Seoul 1986-90, was on the Korea Desk at State 1993-95 and a member of the Agreed Framework negotiating team. He is on the board of directors of both CBOL Corporation, a California aerospace company, and the NGO Pacific Century Institute.
