Michael J. Zagurek Jr. is an independent consultant specializing in database management systems with a focus on spatial databases. He has worked for Digital Equipment Corporation, Oracle Corporation, a number of start-up companies, and has had consulting contracts at HUD and the US Census Bureau. Mike also has a background in national security securities including computer modeling, having published articles on arms control and the effects of nuclear weapons. Mike has a M.A. in International Relations from Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs and a B.A. in Political Science from The George Washington University.
