The proposed President Trump-Kim Jong Un summit would be historic for a number of reasons, not the least of which would be the first time a sitting president and a member of the Kim family meet face to face. What should the US do to prepare for this event, and how should expectations be managed? Join Joel Wit and Suzanne DiMaggio, two veterans of Track II negotiations, and Aaron Miller, who has experience arranging summits, for this on-the-record, in-person press briefing as they discuss how the US should take advantage of this opportunity. They recently co-authored an op-ed in Politico on this subject and will expand on it further during this talk. Light refreshments will be served.
